EASTER 2026

Easter Sunday 2026. Around 50 people were at a Service in Amphill They saw the sun rise whilst celebrating the Son rising!

Every other year at Lidlington we construct this in the church hall carpark.

The soil comes from local allotments, and the plants are lent by members of our church family.

There is a bench for people from the community to come and sit and be still for a while.

On Easter morning, before our dawn service, the stone is rolled away to reveal the empty tomb and grave clothes.  Neil also makes bare feet footprints in the earth facing away from the tomb to remind us that He is Risen and has left death behind.

1 April 2026 Cafe Mocha is a small very friendly café in Biggleswade Town centre, opposite the White Hart car park, with a core of amazing regular customers, and we aim to share God’s love with the people of Biggleswade.   They more people to help run it.

This painting was created by Penelope, a member of our Lidlington church family . She was called by God to paint the crucifixion.

The painting was on display in our church on Good Friday  for people to sit and contemplate the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

There was an invitation to place a fingerprint on the canvas as a reminder that we are all Gods unique creation.

This great little cafe is sharing  God’s love in Biggleswade High Street

On Good Friday in Biggleswade we met at Millers Coffee House in the King's Reach area.

We walked behind the Cross to the Market Square in the Town Centre for a service.

To finish our  Eastertide journey together Dawn, our Ecumenical Facilitator hosted an online prayer meeting.  This was a simple and reflective hour of shared prayer and gentle creativity as we continued to live in the light of resurrection.

A big thank you to Richard Southan for allowing us to use his photos.
